When Should You Order Your Wedding Cake?

The sooner the better! We limit our weddings to 3 per weekend, orders are 1st come 1st serve. We require at the least 1 month prior to your wedding date, wedding cakes take a lot preparation and planning.

Allergy Statement

We are not a certified gluten free or peanut free establishment. Tiers of Sugar is a home based business and cakes are made using the same equipment that comes into contact with wheat, peanuts and other possible allergens

Delivery

We deliver to the Dayton and Cincinnati area. Delivery cost is based on the location of the delivery.

Quality Statement

Our cakes are fresh, never frozen. We guarantee your cake will be beautiful as well as delicious on your special day.



Wedding cake shopping can be confusing and it's important to know what you are paying for so don't be afraid to ask questions! 

Wedding cakes are priced per serving and our Serving Size is 1 3/8" by 2" by 4" which is bigger than most, this means your venue may cut more out of the cake than we say it will serve. It is important to note that there is no standard serving size used by bakeries.  You should ask each bakery what their serving size is so you can have an accurate idea of the overall cost of the cake. 

Our per serving price includes torting and filling. All of our cakes are torted giving you four layers of cake and three layers of filling or buttercream. Most bakeries will charge an extra per serving price to tort plus an extra per serving price for filling.

We do not charge extra to place different flavors in each tier. Each tier is priced either using a basic flavor or a specialty flavor multiplied by how many it feeds.

Your Anniversary Tier is always free!

We do require a contract for all Wedding Cake orders, a 20% deposit to hold your date with the final payment due 2 weeks before your wedding.
